Once again, the Komen Iowa Race for the Cure race coordinators have requested us to provide the volunteers and to supervise the water stop for this huge event! They love our energy, fun and tropical theme that we brought to the day for the past four years.
We're looking for fun, hard-working volunteers to help at the water stop. Duties will include making posters/signs, set up, keeping cups filled, handing out water, and tear down. But the most important requirement is that we're looking for smiling faces, fun attitudes and someone who can encourage participants by making it a fun time for all.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to have your help. Older teens are welcome to help as well, and can receive credit for volunteer hours for helping. Feel free to ask friends, family or co-workers if they would like to be a part of the fun. There will be coffee and a snack provided for volunteers.
Anyone volunteering will need to register here on the site, even if they are non-members. We'll also need to know your t-shirt sizes so please fill in that information, too! Thanks for volunteering!
